Today, essentially the last day of school for students, I walked into a 10th grade classroom where I witnessed Gandhi, Napoleon Bonaparte, Florence Nightingale, Van Gogh, Einstein, Lenin, and some others having an intense conversation as an end-of-year culminating project. Inspiring, you know . . . . full costumes, accents . . . .but, most importantly, students displaying an authentic commitment to and love for academics & learning. Each character truly knew his or her part and was eager to participate. The teacher? A 20+ year veteran. It could not have happened without him. Grazie, Mr. Hill. Amen!

What an awesome teacher Mr. Hill must be! I have done a similar project - it was SO much fun and we learned so much more than we would have done just writing a report.
