Babbo Natale

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Maddy paid Santa or, in this case, Babbo Natale a visit Sunday.
She bravely approached him,
climbed in his lap,
whipped her arms around him,
and hugged
and hugged
and hugged some more.

In fact, she didn't loosen her embrace until the photographer asked her to.

Santa, though a bit shocked,
clearly loved each second of it.


When she had a chance to chat with him, she was a bit shy. That's our Maddy -- full of love and emotion but timid with strangers. I suppose she forgot Santa is indeed a stranger until the moment she had to talk with him.
She's quite the sensitive kid. (Some folks may use the word "cry baby.")


She was still unable to commit to a Santa Wish List and this troubled her so. I think she'll like all the surprises that he delivered last night!
