We've had snowy winters here in the past --
but snow is certainly not the norm.
I mean, it's November 24 for goodness sakes.
We bundled up and hit the road to start our normal routine.
My favorite persimmon tree is covered in snow.
By the time I arrived at my destination, the scene looked more like this.
Of course, as soon as we arrived, a "Snow Day"
was called.
Shortly thereafter we started our trek home, which includes a stop near the famous Villa Capra, or La Rotonda, to pick up Miss Maddy,
who was surprisingly playing outside in the snow.
When we got home?
Well, a snowman, immediately, of course.
We invited a neighbor friend over to keep Miss Maddy busy, and Mr. Duncan & I are starting a movie and may even get the Christmas decorations going.
Good day.
