Two-A-Days

Yes -- we actually went out there twice Thursday and by the end of the day the entryway was done (minus the grout) and the caldaia was set to 34 C (92.3 F) drying out the cement flooring.

Richard asked Giorgio (where has father Ghiotto been, anyway?) if we could have it all done by July 14 -- they are working on it -- no commitments.

He told us that next Monday the guys will lay the tile stairs and the Veneziana will also get its oil treatment. (No walking on it for two or three days after the oil.)

We are working out details with the painter to get some color. It is not looking good.
