I'm not sure how this little problem will be fixed. The electrician designed the electricity in the kitchen according to the original kitchen design we gave him. We then changed the design, but we talked with him at that point and changes were made -- except for one important thing:
The light switch for all of the lights in the kitchen is positioned just above the range, right smack in the middle of the back splash for the stove top.
The electrician's initial solution -- just cut it out of the granite and live with it there. Yuck. . . we are working on it. The kitchen has most likely been ordered, so to make changes now will most likely cost us and not make our kitchen guy too happy.
We'll see. . . .
It's on of those three yellow boxes next to the door.
