The ten days for the heating will be done about July 7. We assumed (absolutely incorrectly) that the wood floors would be done then. Nope. Can't do it. The guy installing the wood floors wants to be last, absolutely last. The painter wants to be last, absolutely last. (Yes, the painter is back in the picture.) The company doing the windows and doors can't do anything until July 20, or so they say now.
We have found a possible bank for a mortgage, but we still have not gotten the proper paperwork from the architect. What? Has it been two months since we have asked for this? And the bank won't do the appraisal until the windows and doors are installed. The bank needs 15 days to process everything. . . . don't forget that in August things just stop and certainly the notaio will not be working.
We absolutely do not want to move during the first few weeks of school . . . .so. . . . it is now looking like September before we even move. OR. . . .we move our stuff into an unfinished house without a mortgage.
Oh well.
