No Progress but Good Neighbors

Yesterday we visited the "construction site" only to learn that there hasn't been any progress, only the watering of the Veneziana. One of our soon-to-be neighbors stopped by and invited Maddy over to play with his kids while we surveyed the progress (or lack thereof). When we went to get Maddy, we actually visited with him and his wife for a bit and learned a little about them and a little about life in Lumignano. They've been in their incredibly beautiful (and big) house for about a year and a half now and have settled down quite nicely in the neighborhood. Among other things, they spoke of the generosity of the Italian neighbors (remember the fresh eggs), to include the time that one neighbor brought them a skinned rabbit with certain internal organs (yummy) still attached. Nothing like living in the country! Living in Lumignano will be a great thing for our little family of three :)
