jars from the recycle bin

While we carved pumpkins with large sharp knives, this project kept the five-year-old hands busy.

She created these luminaries with jars from the recycle bin and paints that were on the shelf, and she did most of it by herself.   Fine job, don't you think?  I love The Crafty Crow.

They look great! Funny timing...we made luminaries yesterday, too...jars, tissue paper, and glue were perfect for our three year old. I have a feeling when Noah sees this he'll quickly dig jars out of the recycle bin and try his hand at scary faces. I love Crafty Crow, too. Need to head over there for some Halloween inspiration soon.

Those are fabulous! She did a great job. I can't wait until Pata is a little older and we can start making things like that.

Thanks from Maddy. It is a perfect craft for a working mom on the go. Saw it on my iphone at lunch and then made it happen with supplies at home.
