This weekend there was a wedding in the neighborhood of Volla, in the heart of Napoli.
Mr. Duncan quizzed Madelyn over and over before the wedding: "Who is the most important person today?" Eventually, I think, she understood, but knowing did not diminish her excitement to follow closely behind the bride as she entered the church. Giovanna may have been the most important person, but clearly Madelyn & her little friend had the most important job.
More images later . . . it's a busy week :) The wedding was gorgeous.

So adorable! The Italiens sure know how to do it. I once went to a baptism at the Vatican and then to the party afterward at their country summer home. It was amazing.
What a sweet wedding! I remember my friend and I being my aunt's flower girls at her wedding in France when we were that age...what fun it was!
She had the most beautiful dress for the most important job!
That's so sweet!
Yes, this is near my home. Our city has a lots of green spaces. I had planned to have my little one out there tossing rocks into the pond, but it was raining too hard.
