Yesterday we spent some time together, just the 3 of us, in our hills -- finally some worry-free moments for our family.
We started with a hike in our hills.
We then dined at a restaurant in our hills.
We ended with a bit of hide-and-seek near a church in our hills.
I feel refreshed, revived, renewed and ready for a new week. . . and thankful for our hills.

What a good way to spend your day! Hope this week will be easier for Maddy.
ok, now i have the hills are alive playing in my head... looks like a great day! besos!
You always make me so hungry. It is funny because I ate a very similar pasta dish last night made by my Italien friend. Different noodles, but the sauce looks like it might be the same.
The pasta is homemade bigoli with a boscaiola sauce. It's as good as it looks, trust me. I had pasta with a rabbit "sauce," and Maddy had orrecchiette with ragu . . . all the pastas were homemade. It makes all the difference, trust me.
Until next time. . . .
Francesca,
She is still struggling, more with anticipation of events rather than real life. It'll be okay.
