summer blogging & mermaids

Summer has started.
I don't know that I'll have the time & computer access to be a consistent blogger or daily blog reader throughout the summer.
I've prepared a series of simple "in giro" posts that showcase some of our travels that I wrote about here. I have some other pre-dated ramblings ready to go as well.

It may seem like I'm here. . . but most likely I am not :) , but then again, maybe I am.

Into the Sea

Maddy and I created this together last week in preparation for the summer beach trips ahead; it's based on an idea I saw here, but I modified it because I only had a tablet of small paper. We took turns drawing, which worked for us. . . time for brainstorming in between. It was a really, really nice time for both of us. It's been a while since I sat quietly alone with her, with all of our energies focused on a single task. . . a single pleasurable task. Isn't her tanned mermaid the best?
