Mark your calendar! The famous Sagra dei Bisi kicks off this week.
Lumignano's agricultural claim to fame is her peas. This church fair centers around those peas, but there is also nightly entertainment, raffles, a soccer game, a fun run, rides for kids, a Slow Food dinner, an art show, rock-climbing demonstrations (our other claim to fame), and special area called "Spritzzettando" dove si potra bere uno spritz in compagnia. (Adam, shall I reserve your spot?)

Gosh, your climate must really be a lot better: our peas are so far from being ... in their pods! Have fun!
You know, I don't know if they are organic. Likely not. . . but you never know. I'll ask around.
How fun! Aren´t fresh peas the best? I eat them raw. My husband´s town´s claim to fame is beans... Have a great time!
