One of the perks of the profession.
This year we made brownie jars for Maddy's teachers. I know it's not a very original idea for us, but I am quite certain that it will be novel and thus completely a hit with them :)
I found the recipe from here, and translated (loosely) the directions.
Maddy eagerly assisted in assembling the ingredients; sometimes it would just be easier to do things without a four-year-old helper. She would not even consider my suggestion that she sit this one out.
We'll also bring a tray of brownies,
and these delizioso Ricotta Cheese Cookies. (I add a little almond extract to the icing -- yummy!)
While I would like to expand my cookie repertoire, each year I return to this recipe and make dozens of these and not much else.
