A Sunday Well Spent

We are very, very fortunate to have a few close friends;
friends that we
(the entire party of 3)
all enjoy tremendously.

Sunday we gathered together with some of these friends.

This is Maddy and her boys; these guys are among the most important males in her young life. We even call the young guy her brother.
She is loved.

About the activity: some folks have swing sets or even pools -- our friends have recently installed a zip line in their yard.
How cool are they?
I'm a conservative mom.
I shy from these "dangerous" activities.
I am thankful that they push me out of my comfort zone,
sometimes.

First time around Maddy received a couple of helping hands --

This big brother is a pro by now.

And so goes Miss Maddy solo --

"Oh My God!" {Yes, she really says that. Bad Momma.}

She loves, loves, loves this man.
Can't blame her.

These are two of her favorite folks on the planet.

We dined and wined and laughed and lingered.
The Famiglia W brought out the "good wine" -- it was one of those days.
Mr. Duncan and I are certainly blessed.

Each of us contributed to the meal.
I whipped up these delectable deviled eggs --
Secret ingredient -- Tony's.

And this yum, yum, yummy fresh salad.

It grew late . . . {How ya like this here view?}

The children insisted on another try at the zip line.
I like this photo because it shows a brave L with a concerned Papa trailing closely.

I like the way you move it, move it.

Here's our sweet friend Miss J flying through the air --
too fast to focus.

To all a good night. . .
