The Characters: Richard and Maddy
Richard is reading a story to Maddy, Incredible You: 10 Ways to Let Your Greatness Shine Through by Dr. Wayne Dyer -- a gift from Aunt Karen & Uncle John. The "story" is simply a message of goodness -- share the good, find what you love, you are filled with love, find a quite place inside, everyone is special, picture what you want, etc.
Here is the brief post-story conversation:
Richard: Maddy Baby, you can be anything that you want to be. What do you think that you want to be?
Maddy: Daddy, I just don't want to be anything. I don't want to go to school. I just want to go on the airplane to Louisiana. That's it, Dad.
