I imagine that I am no different than any other parent in my pride and amazement with what my little girl does at times. At this moment, I am thoroughly enjoying the little pieces of art that she creates. The evolution of her creations is what interests me most, but I also enjoy the conversations that we are having concerning the art.
For instance, in this piece the figure on the left with the glasses is her Grandma (“mommy’s mommy”) – and she is carrying a “stick to help her walk.” (Note: My mom is tall, doesn’t regularly wear glasses, and doesn’t have a cane.) The figure in the middle is her dad – he has a “bo bo” on his head. And my favorite is the extra “i” in her name – “Because Chiara has one, so I wanted one too.”
Oh yeah, and “. . . to make a rainbow you need sun and rain.”
