Wednesday afternoon started with just these 2 playing in the back. After we took the wagon out and got it hooked up well to his tractor, she told him to wait just a minute while she went in to get something. She climbed both flights of stairs to her room where she selected a couple of favorite books. Her idea was to sit properly, seat belt fastened, in the wagon as he pedaled her around; he liked the idea too. It lasted for quite a while, until another kid came out and had different ideas for the wagon. That’s my girl – my book reading, story-loving, Pinkalicious girl.
He asks for the wagon daily. Sometimes we bring it out and others we don’t – generally based on the number and ages of kids outside. The older Italian kids play rough. There is slight incline to the parking lot. The wagon flies. The kids fly. Later on in the evening there was a bit of flying – the wagon is in the garage awaiting inspection and repair. Luckily, no kids needed repair.
