When we came down to make the coffee (don’t you love a Saturday morning cup of coffee?) this morning, we could hear Ferruccio with his hoe in our little garden. Yikes . . .there goes the leisurely cup of Community! Richard went down to help and before long both Cristian and Mattia joined as well. That’s about as far as we got before it starting raining. It’s been raining since. . .and it’s now about 10 pm. We worked in the garage, installed more lights, received a giant Ficus from Dorina, baked some banana bread, washed some clothes, played some Chutes and Ladders – a pretty mundane, but successful, day.
We decided to plant a little olive tree, among other things, in our little piece of green.
