Gustav

The path of the hurricane Gustav may have been good for New Orleans, but not for the area where my family and friends reside.  Thankfully, everyone is safe.  The damage is immense, and power is expected to be out for 3 to 4 weeks.  My mom and grandma are off to Tennessee for a vacation.  Others have little generators to make life a bit easier.  My sister’s family is okay, but I haven’t spoken to her just yet.  She is a PA in a pediatric ER in Baton Rouge, so I imagine that she is working quite a bit now.  Last I checked, the hospital is open with generator support.
