Grey Sunday

We had hoped to work on the front patio today, but the grey weather kept us inside most of the day. I am just about done with Maddy's room; I am still thinking about some green paint on the walls.

Looks a little busy here, but it doesn't seem so when I'm actually standing in the room. . .
I filled the frames with photographs, mostly selected by Maddy. She really liked seeing her artwork in the frame . . it's a piece that I saved from last school year. She calls it "Peach Tree." It's one of my favorite things in her room as well.

I managed to hang a few things on our bedroom wall as well:
Richard gave two of these mosaics to me as gifts early on in our relationship. He already owned the one on the far right when I met him. Gustav Klimt was new to me and I just really, really liked it. I remember that we went to Rome to see an Klimt exhibition together -- pretty amazing. These pieces remain very special to me. . . to us.
