What do they do with all of those cherries, anyway? Why, earrings, of course!
So the grout in the garage and taverna is done, and the tile looks great. The garage has a drain hole right in the middle. A couple of days ago Giorgio told us that the cement foundation under the house is a meter deep ---- unbelievable, I know. He said that the architect made a mistake, and that was the result.
The color is still changing a bit.
And the Veneziana guy was still there, still working alone. He seemed to be done with the buffing this evening. He is applying a "resina," -- hmmm, resin? sealant? Not sure.
I've always thought that the stairs seemed a bit strange. I was happy to see this "reworking" of the steps Friday.
