Bathrooms generally have lots of tile -- even covering the walls. Ours will go up to the 2 meter height on our 2.7 meter walls. This photo is a pretty typical bathroom. We will have the dark tile on the floor and the light tile on the wall that you see in this photo -- no of the other fancy (gaudy) tile stuff, except for the borders that we selected. I think that they coordinate nicely -- the color may be a bit off in the photo.
Beige is boring, I know. But, isn't it a bit "classic" in the case of these bathrooms? That's what we are going for more than anything in this house -- timelessness. (Cause once it's done we NEVER want to have to do this again.)
Have we achieved it? Who knows. . . . not me, that's for certain.
