When will it be done?

Yesterday the plumber stopped by with an estimate for solar panels. In our discussion, he insisted that house would not be ready for another six months to a year -- the end of May at the earliest. Okay -- so we have a problem here. We gave notice to our current landlord that we would be leaving at the end of March. This will be interesting.
