Busy

In the past couple of weeks we have finalized the tile selections for the bathrooms, met with the plumber to determine the location of pipes, sinks and such, visited a kitchen showroom to have a design created, received the estimate for the windows and doors, met with a bank to discuss a mortgage, and received an estimate for the kitchen. And, we have finally made contact with the landlord of our current rental to give six months notice, after which we were contacted by another agency who wants to begin showing this house to prospective buyers.

Whew! Most of has gone smoothly, but there are many details that still must be worked out. Richard is in the States this week for work, and I will attempt to work out some of the details in his absence. Tomorrow Maddy and I will met the electrician at 5:30 to determine the location of all of the lights and electrical outlets; it should be interesting.
