We had a rainy Sunday and seized that time inside together to create some cookies for those generous neighbors with several of those eggs. It was a nice way to spend a rainy Sunday . . . after we attacked Maddy's closet, that is. That would explain the summer dress on a cold and rainy day. "Momma, I just have to wear this dress today."
When we arrived home Monday, Mirella met us on the sidewalk with yet another bucket of eggs. We traded her a batch of fresh-baked cookies. Would that be considered bartering?

Bartering is a very neighborly thing to do!
About that gorgeous red appliance in your kitchen: it's definetely NOT Italian, correct?
You are funny. We looked into the Italian version, as they do exist in shops here. Most everything we own is now 220V. However. . . the cost of the Kitchenaid in 220 vs 110 was incredible, stupendous! I opted to buy the 110v and use the transformer, even though I HATE using the transformer. I got it in 2004, and it has worked fine with the transformer thus far. Has a great pasta attachment that Mr. Duncan uses quite often.
