Maddy Time

Thought I was exaggerating
when I wrote
about the little lollygagger?

This photo was taken
late one night,
as she prepared for bed.

The imagined conversation:
"Oh, this looks like fun!
Let me hang like a monkey
and then ask you 50 questions
before I even CONSIDER brushing my teeth.

Forget the fact that I do this
Every Night with my Daddy,
and that I know the drill.

Tonight -- I'm hanging.
And it's sooooo fun!

Bedtime?
What bedtime?"

Mr. Duncan has the patience of a saint.
I have been known to be not-so-saintly.

Marzia, from the asilo we love so much, reported that Maddy has recently
had a nap in her clothes.
GASP!
Evidently she was not able to change into her pj's quickly enough during that transition time.
Amazing isn't it? Changing all the kiddos into their pj's for nap time.
Maddy's done this for nearly three years now -- and she
STILL cannot do it quickly.

The mirror and other fixtures we ordered for this bathroom in December should be available for pick up any day now.
