I love the music and the colors and the smells and Santa and his reindeer and the tree and the eggnog and the popcorn garland and the ornaments and the movies and the caroling and the lights and the concerts and Marie and her Sugar Plum Fairy and the nativities and Frosty and bonfires and the candy canes and the Advent Angel and the giving and the stockings and the pecan pie and the oyster dressing (haven't had it in the while) and the mass and "The Chirstmas Song" and . . .
I think that I may like it the best because it is the easiest holiday to establish and continue traditions.
One such tradition we've started is to find a special ornament for Maddy each year. It generally has some symbolic significance connected to her young life or to the year.
I was just delighted to find this Obama origami paper crane here.
A true sign of the times, a defining moment of 2008.
