Entry way --
Someone once told me that my carefully-selected prayer rug is gaudy. I remember thinking that her hair color was gaudy, but I refrained from sharing that with her. (Sign of maturity, right?)
I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Yep -- we have the new leather chairs folks.
Loving them.
Notice I changed the window treatments since the last pic posted of this room; it's still a WIP.
It seems all things in my life are works in progress.
Oh, and the TV has already been to the shop & back.
Like I said, we've been busy around here.
Mr. Duncan once worried about the light; fact is that the natural light just pours into this room.
I have plans to put some of my photography in the black frames, but for now I've put some pretty scrap paper to fill the space.
I worried that the kitchen would just be too small.
Truth be told -- it's a pretty perfect size.
We are learning to use the oven and the range is too small -- but overall we are pleased with it.
Mr. Duncan had his doubts over my insistence to have so many drawers in the kitchen. He, I have to tell you, loves those drawers.
