Dads, be careful what you ask for

A recent conversation in our house went like this:

Maddy: I think I will marry M's dad because he is handsome.
Mr. Duncan: You can't marry M's dad, he is already married. You could marry M.
Maddy: Okay, I'll marry M.
Moma: Or you could consider C or the other C, or what about L. Yeah L, and then J could be your sister.

By now she is just giggling and giggling and thinking this is all just way too funny. I wonder what being married means in her mind.

Maddy: Okay Moma. I like L, too.
Mr. Duncan (jokingly): Am I handsome?
Maddy (back to being serious): No. Only M's dad is handsome.

Ouch.
She adores her dad.

On another note:
We've been busy preparing Halloween treat bags for the kids in the asilo. There is a 60% chance of rain for Friday night. Can't wait. . .
