Closets

Riccardo and Nicola are installing both our closets and kitchen. Today they delivered the materials for the "armadi" or closets and stacked it all neatly in the garage as it is too early to install them.









The kitchen will be installed at the end of July. My sister and her husband are also in the process of completing a house in the States, and she, too, just met with her custom cabinet craftsman. (Though -- I think that her guy actually builds the cabinets with his hands -- unlike our guys who help design and then put the order in at the factory.) They bought this incredible old house and had it moved. It has been quite a tale and a trial for them -- but it'll be worth it when they are finally done. Maybe she'll send me some more recent pics to share? Their house is truly incredible.
