I wish I had a lot of photos of progress to post, but things seem to be moving very slowly. We did meet with the painter and picked some wall colors. More on that later -- maybe.
Tonight I met with Riccardo to finalize the kitchen and look at some designs for "armadi," or closets. Remember, most Italian homes do not have built-in closets, so we have to install these closet systems. (Our neighbors have a big, beautiful built-in closet in their master bedroom. I have closet envy.)
The brand of the kitchen is Carma. Porfido (the material for the counter tops) is in the granite family -- found in the the local Trento mountains; it is not what you see in the photo above.
