So, the Veneziana has been poured (in much the same way the cement would be). It looks a lot like cement with a bit of a yellow tint to it. After 30 days of drying, it will be buffed and look more like the first photo photo (without the fancy patterns, though). We're not sure if work will continue in those 30 days -- as you really are not supposed to walk on the flooring until it is dry. Hopefully they'll work on laying the tile outside and in the garage and taverna. We couldn't quite get a straight answer from Ghiotto.
